Vancouver International Film Festival Is In Full Swing

Running from September 26th to October 11th, the Vancouver International Film Festival (VIFF) will be showcasing a number of buzzed-about flicks, including “All the Wrong Reasons,” one of the late Cory Monteith’s final performances and a movie that was the winner of the Discovery Award at this year’s TIFF.

Seven venues will see dozens of up-and-coming titles that will be screened and fall under one of ten “series”: Altered States, Arts and Letters, Canadian Images, Cinema of our Time, Dragons & Tigers, Galas, International Shorts, Nonfiction Features, Special Presentations, and Spotlight on France.

Starting back in 1982, the Vancouver International Film Festival has grown steadily with each passing year. As one of the largest film festivals on the continent, VIFF brings Vancouver audiences some of the best films from around the globe – last year, more than 380 films were featured from 75 countries to over 140,000 enthusiastic film-lovers.

Tickets are still available for many of the shows. Visit the VIFF website for more info.
