Last spring, Bryan Fuller unleashed his updated take on Dr. Hannibal Lecter in NBC’s “Hannibal,” which re-imagines Thomas Harris’ iconic serial killer for a new generation.
Mads Mikkelsen stars as the title character, Hannibal Lecter in the early days of his relationship with FBI Special Agent Will Graham (Hugh Dancy), a man so in tune with serial killers that even he fears that he may become one. But Hannibal is the true monster on this show, as he kills and eats his victims right under the noses of Special Agent Jack Crawford (Laurence Fishburne), Will and everyone who knows him.
“Hannibal” Season 1 is hitting Blu-ray and DVD tomorrow, and we’ve got an exclusive clip from one of the behind-the-scenes featurettes as Mikkelsen, Dancy and executive producer Martha De Laurentiis weigh in Hannibal’s cannibalistic tendencies.
The “Hannibal” Season 1 Blu-ray and DVD will include all 13 episodes from the first season, including the episode that was pulled by request of Bryan Fuller. The set also includes audio commentaries, deleted scenes, a gag reel, storyboards and behind-the-scenes featurettes.
The official street date for “Hannibal” Season 1 Blu-ray/DVD is Tuesday, September 24
