It has all the right elements to push the buttons of those oh-so-judgmental comics/movie fanatics: Justin Bieber in a selfie with what appears to be a script for Batman vs. Superman.
No doubt the interwebs sprang into flames when this Instagram hit last Friday and at Crave’s CinemaBlend website. The script looks real: David S. Goyer & Zack Snyder on the cover, a real address for Warner Bros. and a based on citation that Snyder has claimed as his inspiration.
But perhaps the feature that lit Twitter and every other social media site up was the word “Bieber” stamped across the cover of the movie every nerd has waited generations to see done well.
Well done, Justin Bieber. Oh yeah, the tweet at around the same time saying you were off to “do something funny…or die” … clever. Well, know that you made millions of nerds go spiritually flaccid with this selfie.
So Biebs as Robin? A horrifying thought, but probably not…
