Last season on “The Walking Dead,” Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) conquered his inner demons and helped his band of survivors repel an attack from Woodbury and the vengeful Governor (David Morrissey). Rick even took in several Woodbury residents to live at the prison after the Governor snapped and killed his own people.
It was a happy ending of sorts… but don’t expect that to last too long.
The new season of “The Walking Dead” is just around the corner and AMC has released a new behind-the-scenes preview video that offers our best look to date at the new storylines and characters. “The Walking Dead” showrunner, Scott M. Gimple and series creator Robert Kirkman share their thoughts on the new season alongside executive producers Greg Nicotero and David Alpert, co-executive producer Denise Huth and several members of the cast including Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Danai Gurira, Lauren Cohan, Scott Wilson, Melissa McBride and Steven Yeun.
Among the highlights of the video are the increased role for Tyreese, a closer relationship between Michonne and Carl, Carol teaching the kids about knives, a first look at Larry Gilliard, Jr. as a major new character named Bob Stookey and more kickass moments from Rick and Daryl as the prison gates start to fall.
“The Walking Dead’ returns for its fourth season on Sunday, October 13 on AMC.
