For all of you out there that have been excited for the newest addition to the Dark Souls universe, you may want take a seat.
Seeing as many of us have been anticipating our first hands on with the upcoming Dark Souls 2 beta, this may sting a little bit. According to GameInformer, the publisher Namco Bandai has pushed back the release date of the closed beta another week to the 12th of October for the PS3. Sure, this may not be too drastic, but it makes the wait even more painful.
To counter the pain from the delay, a second closed beta has been announced to be available for play on October 27th. As of right now only the EU Free Pass is accessible for download via PSN, but it never hurts to keep checking on it to try and get in on the action. In regards to the PC and Xbox 360 versions of the game, there haven’t been any confirmations. All that we can say for sure is the release date for the full game is still set for March 2014.
