Battlefield 4 Graphics Are Leaps Ahead of Battlefield 3

Besides the rather enticing fact that Battlefield 4 will be releasing for the next generation of consoles, people have been waiting to find out just how well it will not only play, but look on a console versus a PC.

Well, it turns out that YouTube video producer Jackfrags was able to get his hands on the newest Battlefield and play it for a little while. What he had to say was nothing short of an enthusiast’s wishful ambitions. During the gameplay video that has been released (below) he mentions a running speed of 60 frames per second on the next-gen consoles and that in comparison to Battlefield 3 it is like the difference between “night and day”.

Besides this, he brings up a point that while he is playing, the graphic content between the PS3 and PS4 was immensely different, stating that the PS3 in comparison was like running Battlefield with medium resolution on a PC. So considering this, the entire gameplay and quality must be astounding for comments such as these. And even though there has been no official statement as to what the frame rate will be, we can only hope that they keep the same specs, if not improve them from the point they are at during the YouTube gameplay video.

Regardless, so long as it plays just as clear as we all expect, then we should be fine when the picture perfect explosions hit the screen.
