Who is ready for another title to release a Game of the Year Edition? Well, it turns out that Halo 4 is going to be re-released in the following months for all of the fans of the series to enjoy with all of the extra features added in.
Thanks to a leak provided to IGN, a Halo 4: Game of the Year Edition will be released at some point in October for $49.99. The copies will also include Spartan Ops Season 1, the Halo 4 Champions Bundle, a War Games Map Pass, and all of the digital content that was only available via the Halo 4 Limited Edition or as a preorder bonus.
Just to ensure it was not a false image, or rumor, a spokesman for Microsoft just released the following statement to the press:
A Game of the Year Edition of Halo 4 will be offered this October, offering tremendous value for fans who want to enjoy one of the most critically acclaimed games of 2012, and additional DLC all in one place. We will have more details to share during the live stream of the Halo Global Championship Finals this Sunday.
So get ready for some more goodies to be available to further enhance all of your Halo 4 gameplay.
