First Look: ‘The Walking Dead’ Season 4 Teaser Scene

In just under seven weeks, “The Walking Dead” will return to AMC for its fourth season.

At the end of the third season, Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and the survivors living at the prison managed to repel an attack by the Governor (David Morrissey); who then snapped and massacred his own people. In the aftermath, Rick took in most of the Woodbury survivors, including Tyreese (Chad Coleman) and Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green).

When season 4 premieres, several months will have passed. But the Governor is still out there and new threats are on the horizon.

During last night’s episode of “Low Winter Sun,” AMC debuted a brief preview scene from the new season of “The Walking Dead.” In the clip, Michonne (Danai Gurira) encounters some difficult walkers as she tries to get back into the prison, prompting Carl (Chandler Riggs) and Maggie (Lauren Cohan) to run to her aid.

“The Walking Dead” Season 4 launches on Sunday, October 13 on AMC.
