Although the “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” pilot has now been screened at Comic-Con, the TCAs and D23, ABC and Marvel are still being very secretive about the show.
Case in point: Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Ian Hart is the latest addition to the cast and he will have a recurring role throughout the season. But that’s all they know. The name of Hart’s character has not been revealed, although EW guessed that he may be one of the scientists working for S.H.I.E.L.D. alongside Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg) and his team.
Hart had a memorable role in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone as both Professor Quirinus Quirrell and Lord Voldemort. Hart has appeared in several films including Wonderland, Finding Neverland and Within the Whirlwind. On television, Hart has made guest appearances on “Bates Motel,” “Rogue” and “Dirt” in addition to his role as Lonnie McHinery on HBO’s “Luck.”
“Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” will premiere on ABC on Tuesday, September 24.
