Regal Entertainment finally took the shark by the horns and is responding to the massive public outcry for more Sharknado.
That’s right, the movie theater chain is running the SyFy movie Sharknado August 2 in about 200 theaters. Crave has reported on the Sharknado phenomenon, including a Twitter hashtag rate of 5,000 tweets per minute and a sports team taking issue with the movie.
Thanks to Regal we will now see if Sharknado makes it into pop culture legend or swims back out to sea.
