Comic Con 2013: Studios vs. Stores – A Tale of Two Comic-Cons

In hindsight, the origins of Comic Con seem so quaint.  Just a bunch of comic book enthusiasts getting together each year to share their collections and their love for four-color action.  Today, that love has gone nuclear, turning the San Diego Convention Center into Hollywood’s biggest stage for pitch multimillion-dollar blockbuster films and TV projects that feed off today’s seemingly insatiable desire for mutants, zombies, superheroes and pretty much anything that carries a wand.
