What if — now hear me out here — Spider-Man was interested…in men? We can’t imagine how Andrew Garfield brought it up with Matt Tolmach, producer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2, but that was the general idea.
Garfield told a journalist Michael B. Jordan might be an interesting choice to play MJ Watson. Crave’s /Film reported the interview in which Garfield suggested Peter Parker should explore his sexuality but the idea has people everywhere talking.
We’ll see what happens with future Spider-Man movies, but since the shooting is already well underway for The Amazing Spider-Man 2, opening May 2 2014, we likely won’t get this plot line anytime soon.
