[UPDATE]: Well, looks like the internet was hoaxed on this one…turns out the poster allegedly released earlier this week as the teaser for Jurassic Park 4 wasn’t a legit offering from Universal and Amblin Entertainment after all.
A fine effort, for sure…but after buzz — and multiple media reports — around the alleged teaser, it was uncovered that the poster actually appears to be the work of a DeviantArt user named joinme.
In hindsight, with the movie’s release still two years out, it might have been too much to hope that the poster was real…but reaction to the fake seems to show there’s already a building sense of excitement and awareness around the rejuvenated franchise. Keep your fingers crossed for some new JP4 news out of Comic-Con next week!
[ORIGINAL POST]: San Diego Comic Con begins next week, but one movie is apparently trying to beat the crushing rush for attention. A teaser poster for the fourth film in the Jurassic Park franchise was released Tuesday, complete with an image that harkens back to the original.
Crave’s MovieWeb.com was quick to point out director Colin Trevorrow’s promise to stay true to Jurassic Park.
We’ll see what Trevorrow and Universal have in store for Comic Con. Of course you can catch it all through Crave’s live coverage from San Diego all next week.
