Jonathan Hickman’s Infinity is the late summer event book coming out of Marvel that will bring Thanos back to the foreground. However, you can’t have an event book without preludes, and the way Hickman writes, we’ll need as much groundwork laid as possible.
In New Avengers #8, we get some of that prelude, and we start to figure out what role the Inhumans and their floating city of Attilan will play in the Illuminati, who must figure out how to step in to the war between Atlantis and Wakanda – or if they should even intervene at all in this matter of national politics.
