Aaron Taylor-Johnson, star of Kick-Ass and the soon to be released Kick-Ass 2, may have another superhero gig waiting in the wings.
Crave’s CinemaBlend site Friday reported Taylor-Johnson is being heavily considered to play Pietro Maximoff, better known as Quicksilver, in The Avengers 2. Director Joss Whedon announced last month his intention to bring Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch to his sequel. (which BTW, set off a game of chicken with Fox, who announced they intend to use Quicksilver in X-Men: Days of Future Past. We’re still waiting to see how that plays out.)
Obviously, nothing is decided and Hollywood rumors are just that, but CraveOnline is keeping an eye on all these developments and will bring it all to you. Marvel’s The Avengers 2 is now scheduled to open May 1, 2015.
