Bizarre Bear Grylls Flight Safety Video Goes Viral

Big, mad, sick, dope, bombtastic props to Air New Zealand. Whomever is in charge of their marketing over there should get a major award, say, a leg lamp…or something.

We all know Bear Grylls; expert survivalist in the most extreme of situations. Star of "Man vs. Wild," Grylls teamed up with the New Zealand airline to produce an air safety video outside the box. Way outside the box…

It's humorous, serious, entertaining, parodic, outrageous and informative all at once.

Here is an excerpt from the public relations team:

The video was filmed along the Routeburn Track, a 32km, 2-4 day track in the southwestern corner of New Zealand's South Island and highlights Air New Zealand’s association with the Department of Conservation (DOC).  Watch as Bear explores and encounters many New Zealand natives, including entomologist Ruud Kleinpaste and local animals like the Tuatara (lizard), Kia (bird), and Weta (insect).  Viewers are also given the chance to enter to win The Great Kiwi Bucket List: a trip for two from anywhere in the world to New Zealand by simply tuning-in and watching the video.
