Jason Rusch and Ronnie Raymond have had a rough go of it ever since the Firestorm protocols turned them into massively powerful Nuclear Men with the powers of matter transmutation. They stepped into a nuclear arms race full of powerhouses like them, and whenever they fought each other, they’d merge into a massive monster called Fury.
Now, they’ve managed to find a stable merged form, one which believes all the other Nuclear Folks have been eliminated – but much damage has been done, and Firestorm is out to put right what once went wrong. However, their insane power levels have the attention of General Wade Eiling (who is just not good news ever) as well as the Teen Titans, who are set to track him down, now that they’ve figured out that Ronnie and Jason – and thus, their merged form – are teenagers like them.
