Chris Zylka Joins ‘American Horror Story’ Season 2

Despite numerous castings over the last few months, “American Horror Story” season 2 has picked up yet another actor.

On his twitter feed, Chris Zylka said “Pleased, honored, humbled, and thrilled to announce that I’m joining the cast of ‘American Horror Story’ next season.

No details about Zylka’s character have been released, but it is known that the second season takes place at an East Coast institution for the criminally insane during the ’60s. Additional details about Jessica Lange’s lead character were recently revealed by “American Horror Story” producer Tim Minear. Other actors on board for the second season include Zachary Quinto, Joseph Fiennes, James Cromwell, Adam Levine, Chloe Sevigny, Britne Oldford, Lizzie Brocheré, Lily Rabe, Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters.

Zylka was most recently a costar of the CW series “Secret Circle” and he will next appear as Flash Thompson in The Amazing Spider-Man feature film reboot. Prior to that, Zulka appeared in “90210,” “Everybody Hates Chris,” “Hannah Montana,” “Cougar Town,” My Super Psycho Sweet 16 and Shark Night 3D.

“American Horror Story” season 2 will begin this fall on FX.
