Angelina Jolie turned heads as she arrived with her son Pax at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival. The mom-son duo flew to Canada to attend the star-studded event in matching outfits. They were there to promote the war drama “Without Blood,” which Jolie wrote and directed herself. Her two oldest children, Maddox and Pax, worked as assistant directors on the film.
For those who don’t know, Pax is still in the process of recovering from a horrifying accident he endured in July. The 20-year-old had suffered head and hip injuries. A scar, reminiscent of the harrowing incident, was visible on his forehead as he was spotted at the red carpet event.
Angelina & son Pax arrive at Without Blood TIFF premiere in black fits
In July 2024, Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt bumped into a car while riding his electric bike in Los Angeles. As reported by TMZ, he was driving down the ever-busy Los Felix Boulevard. This happened when his ride collided with the back of a car as he approached an intersection.
The law enforcement sources even reported that Pax was not wearing any helmet at the time of the accident. The impact left him with several injuries, and he was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Jolie looked ethereal at 2024 TIFF, wrapped in a pleated black silk Dolce & Gabbana gown. The 49-year-old superstar brought back the old Hollywood charm by pairing it with a long sleeved silk gloves. She kept the look rather simple by choosing to wear minimal make-up and even opted out any jewelry. Meanwhile, Pax wore a black tuxedo suit and paired it with black tie and shades. Apart from the visible scar, he appeared to be recuperating well from the shock and even joined the audience in giving the cast a standing ovation, as reported by People.
Without Blood, which is based on Alessandro Baricco’s book of the same name, is a revenge drama. It features Salma Hayek, Demian Bichir and Juan Minujin in the lead roles. In her interview with People, Hayek praises Jolie’s professionalism on the set and also calls Maddox and Pax “hardworking” and “serious”.
