At this point, no one should be surprised that Mike Tyson is a violent man. He’s a former professional boxer, after all. If his training didn’t teach him to beat the shit out of people, all those knocks to the head can pretty much guarantee he has a traumatic brain injury, which can cause people to be aggressive without cause or warning.
Well, one fan didn’t seem to factor all that in when he realized he was on the same flight as the 55-year-old fighter known for biting Evander Holyfield’s ear off during a boxing match. The fan was on the same 10:30 p.m. flight to Florida out of San Francisco as Tyson was and appeared to be seated right behind him. Allegedly, too much booze made this dude ballsy. After nabbing a selfie with the fighter, the guy just wouldn’t leave the tattooed celeb alone.
In a video obtained by TMZ, you can see the overeager fan bothering “Iron Mike Tyson” from behind his airplane seat. Supposedly, Tyson shushed the drunkard, but he just couldn’t find his chill. Finally, Tyson had enough, and crouched over the seat and pummeled the guy several times, leaving him bloodied in the forehead. Luckily for the dude, his ears were still intact and he was conscious, if a little pouty. (Talk about a sore loser.)
We don’t exactly feel bad for the victim (what an annoying asshole, honestly) but we don’t condone Tyson’s actions, either. WTF was he thinking flying coach? Doesn’t this dude have enough money for a private jet? He did just release his brand-new line of ear-shaped cannabis gummies, after all. (And probably should’ve eaten a few before this flight.) Why would he subject himself to the starstruck masses when he could travel in comfort, alone? Jesus, man, splurge a little!
