Couple’s Ridiculous Rules For Wedding Guests Guarantee No One Will Come, Mission Accomplished For Everyone

News flash: no one wants to come to your wedding. Hell, you probably don’t even want to go but you think you’ll break Grandma Betty’s heart if you don’t make a big dog-and-pony show of the whole event. Well, one couple on TikTok went about guaranteeing they’ll be eloping because no one is going to RSVP to their wedding after they see this video.

It all began when 26-year-old wedding photographer Kaytlyn Rosko and her 31-year-old fiancé Tyler Wyatt posted a video on the social media platform that started off with the text: “Hyping ourselves up to tell our wedding guests …”

The tattooed couple from Colored appeared in the clip swaying side to side as a few of the rules for their wedding flashed on the screen.

“no plus ones allowed”

“there’s a dress code”

“kids aren’t invited”

“and we’re not giving out favors”

They had no idea the video would go viral. Strangely, instead of pissing people off, most of the comments seem to suggest that the internet supports these control freaks.

“Love this. Weddings have become so much more about making guests happy than the actual couple,” one commenter opined.

“Normalize kid free weddings,” another cheered.
“don’t back down. we are all rooting for you!!” a third encouraged.

Huh. And here we thought the point of inviting people to your wedding was to share your joy with them, not make them bend to your will. After all, if your guests are such a big pain in the ass, why invite them at all?
