By the time you read this, the Super Bowl will have been decided. Who won? The Los Angeles Rams or the Cincinnati Bengals? We’ve placed our bets, and you’ve probably placed yours, too. While we won’t reveal who we were rooting for (yes we will: Rams, duh), one unruly passenger on a Frontier flight recently bemoaned the fact that he was “the only Bengals fan.” And he’s not wrong.
It all started as a flight waited to depart Cleveland for Phoenix last week. The fan in question got into a Super Bowl-themed argument with another man on board. When an airline employee tried to intervene and told the superfan he’d had too much to drink, he became even more enraged. That’s when another passenger stepped in and put the superfan in a chokehold (because that’ll calm down a mad drunk).
The inebriated pigskin supporter was eventually escorted off the plane. On his way toward the exit, he exclaimed: “I was a Bengals fan, I was the only Bengals fan. I’m not a bad person, bro, I drank a little too much, and one guy back there had a problem that I was drinking too much.”
Dude, we don’t know if that’s true or not, but what we can say is that no matter who won the big game, you’re definitely the biggest loser in this scenario.
