If your innocence was gauged on the creativity behind your excuses, well, this woman would be the least guilty of them all.
According to MSN News, a 26-year-old woman in Fort Pierce recently came up with with craziest reason for having cocaine in her possession. Just how did the booger sugar get inside Kennecia Posey’s purse? You guessed it – it flew in through the window on a windy day.
No, seriously.
“I don’t know anything about any cocaine,” Posey told officers on March 21. “It’s a windy day. It must have flown through the window and into my purse.”
Police said they pulled over the vehicle Posey was riding in after they saw it swerving on the road. Because they smelled weed as they approached Posey’s car, they searched the vehicle and found both pot and cocaine in Posey’s purse. She admitted to owning the herb, but she swore she had no idea how the snout candy found its way in there.
Luckily for Posey, the marijuana possession is just a misdemeanor, but when it comes to the cocaine, well, she might be dicked. Unless she can prove the wind had it in for her and blew a bag of coke into her purse, she’s going to be slapped with a felony.
