Just a heads up, you may want to watch the volume on this one because it may just shatter your ears.
Amos Wiebe, a Canadian photographer caught the moment a female lynx fought off an unwanted mating attempt by a male lynx on the very top of a tree. Weibe stopped on a logging road in order to capture the battle near Grand Prairie, Alberta. According to Edmonton Journal, Wiebe got out of his car and followed the intense sound that the female lynx was making.
“It made your hair stand on end; it was ear-piercing, Weibe said. “It sounded like a female was being murdered out in the bush.”
Check out the highlights below, and again: watch the volume.
Here’s the entire version shared on Wiebe’s Facebook:
According to Weibe, the male lynx was quite persistent:
“He ran up that tree again and tried to mate with her again, but she started swatting and screaming…Finally when he came back down he just walked away slowly in another direction … He looked like he was not very happy that he didn’t get lucky.”
I guess if you look really closely that male lynx kind of resembles Harvey Weinstein.
