Here’s a tip from me to you: never walk out in public with a bag filled with thousands of dollars. Hell, I get nervous walking around New York City with $15 dollars in my back pocket, so I can’t even imagine what was going through boxer’s Jermall Charlo’s head when he decided to head out with so much cash and jewelry. Oh, I know, not much was going on in his head.
The undefeated middleweight boxer will be fighting Hugo Centeno Jr. next month, but he currently has another fight on his hands as he struggles to find the gang of ladies who “defeated” him and stole a Louis Vuitton bag stuffed with more than $150K in cash and jewelry from him.
It all kicked off when Charlo got into a fight with someone at Jay-Z’s the 40/40 Club. When one of Charlo’s “brilliant” buddies decided to get involved, he in turn left Charlo’s bag behind at the table. And of course, when Charlo returned to his table he realized that $40,000 in cash and $115,000 in jewelry were completely gone. Shocker.
According to spokesman Didier Morais, surveillance video from the club shows one of Charlo’s friends handing the bag to a woman in the club.
Here’s a closer look at these lady-thieves:
For some reason, Charlo has disputed the facts of the story on Twitter.

And yet, the NYPD and the 40/40 club spokesperson have confirmed that Charlo was robbed. Although I don’t blame Charlo for lying — who the hell wants to admit they not only were dumb enough to walk out in public with a ton of cash, but dumb enough to have a bunch of girls steal it from him?
