While that mom in Ohio who spend $500,000 to look like a human barbie doll used her own money, Gabriela Jirackova has been using her parents’ money in order to reach her goal of looking like Barbie.

The 18-year-old, from Prague, has been on this Barbie journey since she was 16. And ever since then she’s gotten everything from permanent make-up and lip fillers, increased her breast size, has gotten massive eyelashes and wants to have her ribs removed and get butt implants. Well then…

Here’s what Jirackova told Barcroft TV about her Barbie obsession:

“I was inspired by other real-life Barbies and also my Barbie dolls. I had plenty of them as a kid. When I saw the real-life Barbies I thought that it was something for me. I have always wanted to stand out and thought this would suit me. I don’t believe in a natural look. I think there is hardly anything natural today.

I spend three and a half hours everyday getting ready. This lifestyle isn’t easy at all. Maintaining my image is difficult in all its aspects, financially, physically and mentally too. There is a great pressure on me from the media, my fans, the haters, from everybody.”

And according to Jirackova this has nothing to do with low self-esteem:

“It is not that I have been unhappy with myself at any point. I have always been content. The fact that I like artificial beauty doesn’t mean that I have ever had low self-esteem. My mum is happy to see that I am following my dream and that what I do makes me happy, but she is not keen on plastic surgeries. I don’t know if I look more like Barbie, but I feel sexier. I’m definitely happier with bigger breasts.”

And Jirackova has no plans of stopping her journey anytime soon.

“I want to live in LA and become famous for my Barbie image. I still want to undergo more cosmetic procedures. I must say I am more pleased with myself after each procedure, but I am not there yet. When one chooses to do this, it takes several years maybe even their whole life. One can’t say I want to change it after a week, so I want to stick with my chosen path. ‘I will definitely continue my lifestyle as this is not a short-term thing.”

So Jirackova isn’t hurting anyone (only her parents’ bank account), and she seems like she’s happy with her transformation, but what is it what all these women wanting to look like Barbie? Hell, some even want to look like Jessica Rabbit. Will this trend end anything soon? Or are women going to continue to go under the knife to look like Barbie? What do you think?
