Tom Hardy is going to have a big year, ladies and gentlemen. Not only is he part of the cast of Dunkirk, a movie that might take home a batch of Oscars, but he will be playing Eddie Brock/Venom, in the new film Venom, which just released a new teaser trailer today. Oh, and one more thing: he also has a new wax figure that for some ungodly reason has a beating heart.

Thanks to Madame Tussauds waxwork museum, fans not only have a chance to get close to Hardy’s body and feel up on him, but they will also be able to feel his beating heart. You know, so they can pretend he’s a real living human being. And if a beating heart inside a wax figure isn’t enough to get you going, you’re even allowed to cuddle the hell out of Hardy.

And according to the wax museum, Hardy’s wax figure not only features a beating heart, but a “soft, warm torso.” Which is also how I would describe my gut: soft. So I finally have something in common with Hardy.

So while the majority of us won’t ever be able to get close to the real Hardy, at least we all can now cuddle a hunk of wax. And if that’s not success I don’t know what is.
