Well this is something that the fellas in the police station probably won’t want to bring up again.
When a Scottish farmer called cops to report a tiger in his cow shed, it quickly turned into an armed police standoff — that’s right, the brigade was call in. Only one problem: it wasn’t a tiger at all. In fact, it was just a cute cuddly stuffed animal.
It seems like 24-year-old Bruce Grubb was throwing a housewarming party when he realized the “tiger,” and of course called police because he feared his pregnant cows would be destroyed. But guess what this “tiger” looked liked. Have a look:
Well, sort of realistic, right…?
Now “I feel a bit silly for calling the police, but I thought it was a real emergency,” Grubb told the Scottish Sun. “I had absolutely no doubt it was real. I got a hell of a scare.”
Hell, even the first arriving cop refused to get out of his police car. And all of these fears led to a 45-minute standoff. Which is still half the time it takes for me to get a stuffed animal out of those machines with the claw.
The North East Police Division even shared their awkward encountered on Facebook:
But hey, it beats calling police after receiving an order of tiny clams.
