You were just riding around, minding your own business, when a random guy cut you off, nearly caused a crash and parked in your favorite parking space. As he was getting out and leaving the “scene of the crime” he rudely gestured towards you and walked off with a devilish grin on his face. Obviously, you can’t let this pass, can you? Well, that is why we’ve compiled a list of best car pranks we could find, for you to use (or misuse) on your friends (or newly-made enemies). Check out our list and tell us would you consider trying them?

A Missing Piece

We start off hard with one of those car pranks reserved for your enemies. Simply pop the hood of the target’s car and pull out whatever seems detachable. The best thing about this prank is that you don’t need to know anything about cars or their inner structure. Simply try to pull out whatever comes first. Obviously, you might get a bit dirty but consider it a symbolic representation of your actions. We should note that it’s generally a bad idea to cut off the person’s breaks, as they might die, but it’s only a small inconvenience if they’re truly evil.

Remove the Licence Plates

Someone cut you off in the traffic and you just want to teach them a lesson. Sure, you could scratch their car with your keys but, on one hand, you might damage your keys; on the other hand, you’re punishing the car itself and it seems wrong. Some pacifists would say – just leave their windscreen wipers up or something similar. That’s way too light. What you can do is just remove their licence plates and dispose of them. It won’t affect the car but it will certainly create problem for its driver. Fines for not having plates can be up to several thousand dollars, so that’s quite a nice lesson for the reckless driver.

For Sale

If you happen to know the person’s phone number, you can cause quite a lot of fairly harmless but irritating problems. Grab a “for sale” sticker, write the person’s number and put it on their car. Preferably, you can choose a less noticeable spot like the back of the car. People will call him and ask for the price not realizing it’s one of those classic car pranks. Note that this is not where the prank ends. If you have the time, make some flyers, hand them out around the city and pin them to every tree you stumble across. He will never be able to get rid of them.

Whistling Car

If you’re looking for slightly annoying, long-term car pranks, you should try this one. All you need is a regular whistle, a little bit of duct tape, and a knife. Place the whistle inside the car’s exhaust pipe, wrap the tape all around it, making sure that you leave the top opening on the outside. The gas from the exhaust pipe will go through the whistle and start making noises. The faster the car goes – the higher the tone. It’s fairly harmless and embarrassing for the driver. If you’re too lazy to do this yourself, you can also buy a small toy created solely for this purpose for a couple of dollars.

Cotton Balls

Fun thing about cotton balls, if you dip them in water, they will attach to anything when it’s cold outside. So, if you’ve got some time to spare and want to get back to your friend for all those car pranks these years – this is the way to do it. All you need is a bunch of cotton that you can make into balls and some regular water. Keep in mind, though, that you need gloves for this joke, otherwise your fingers might also stick to the car or fall off. They should be pretty easy to clean later, if you’re at all worried about that.

Shredded Paper

If you work in a big company, you probably have quite a lot of shredded paper just lying around somewhere, waiting to be disposed of. Just grab as much as you can, and pry open the window of your friend’s car. This is one of those classic car pranks that aren’t all that exciting but can be quite interesting if you go to some length and insert as much paper as it can possibly hold. If you feel like expressing yourself, you could also grab a marker and write “recycle bin” on the windshield. That’s just a little bit of humor that your victim certainly won’t find funny.
