Woman Wants Refund From Costco For ‘Dead’ Christmas Tree

I’m not saying that someone I know once bought a bottle of detergent, used it, filled it with water and then returned it to get their money back. I’m definitely not saying that. Although I am saying that some woman attempted to return a Christmas tree to Costco because it was “dead.”

It all occurred last week as another shopper behind the woman in line took a photo of her with the dead Christmas tree. And it actually happened. Just take a look at the photo below:

The shopper also added this description along with the photo on Facebook.

And as you can read above the woman actually got a refund, although the Costco folks weren’t so happy about it. Now the shopper seems to believe this woman truly needed the money, and maybe she did. Or maybe she’s completely shameless and just wanted to return a tree she didn’t need anymore. Whatever the case may be it worked because now she gets to use that money on something else she will eventually return, too.
