North Korea Apparently Hit One Of Their Own Cities With A Missile By Accident

I’m not in charge of running a country, but I’m pretty sure you’re not supposed to hit your own country with a missile. Well, that’s apparently what North Korea did according to a US government official.

Satellite images show damage to the city of Tokchom, which has a population of 200,000, after a failed test launch. The Hwasong KN-17 medium range missile was launched from Pukchang Airfield in South Pyongan Province in April last year, where it failed shortly and crashed, causing damage to agricultural and industrial buildings.

It seems the missile’s flight only lasted one minute before the engine malfunction, causing it to crash down. No one was injured or killed.

This new is coming just days after Donald Trump tweeted about the “size of his nuclear button.” Then again, if Kim Jong-un does want to start a war with any country, it’s probably best he doesn’t bomb the hell out of his own country instead.

Actually, here’s a better idea: let’s just avoid nuclear war all together, OK?
