Something tells me these are not the stickers that kids get when they put a quarter into those sticker machines.
An American Sewer Services worker in Milwaukee, Wisconsin has been booted from his job after his employers realized that his lunch cooler was decorated with racist stickers. The man arrived to a contract site with confederate flag and Ku Klux Klan stickers stuck to the side of his cooler. Yeah, you can’t do that, buddy. And because of that he’s out of a job.
American Sewer Services called the decals a “disturbing display of hate speech,” adding, “It in no way represents the feelings of American Sewer Services nor our diverse group of employees. The offending employee was immediately dismissed because of his inappropriate actions.”

Jacob Flom, a member of the Young Workers Comittee of the Milwaukee Area Labor Council, told the Journal Sentinel that normally he and other trade union members would be sad to learn that one of their own had been fired.
He noted, however, that membership in an organization like the KKK makes someone “a threat,” adding that he’d never consider a hate-group member a “union brother.”
“As trade unionists, we don’t usually like to see a union brother get fired,” Flom said. “But, if you’re a Klansman and you’re a threat to our fellow workers….you’re not our union brother. That sticker represents 150 years of Klan terror.”
So not only was this guy a racist, but he was dumb enough to showcase that at his place of work. Good going, man.
