Judge Makes Guy Write 144 Compliments About His Ex-Girlfriend After Breaking Protection Order

Let’s try something: think about your ex. Think about all the things you don’t like about them and remind yourself why you aren’t with them. Now think of 144 nice things to say about them. Seems tough, right? Well that’s exactly what one judge ordered a man to do recently.

Hawaii Judge, 2nd Circuit Judge Rhonda Loo thought up of quite the punishment for 30-year-old Daren Young after he called and texted his ex-girlfriend 144 times, even after being ordered in February to stop contacting her.

“It’s so childish to think a grown man can be so thumb-happy,” Loo told Young in court. “I hope you don’t have a phone anymore and, if you do, I hope you don’t have her number anymore.”
