You usually don’t find guys this serious about their soda in the States.

According to Channel NewsAsia, police in Hong Kong arrested a 44-year-old man after he allegedly pulled a knife on an elderly passerby Monday night and made him drink a can of Coke. They believe the suspect they arrested was “under the influence of drugs when the incident happened.”

Um, no shit.

Police were alerted by somebody else who was just passing through the neighborhood around 10:30 p.m. that a guy was being a real asshole by forcing an old man to drink Coca-Cola. They found the suspect at a Portland Street guest house in Mong Kok and arrested him for having the knife, which they called an “offensive weapon.”

Police believe the suspect is part of a gang known as the Sun Yee On triad, but it’s unknown if their number one goal is to wreak havoc upon the world by giving everybody diabetes. However, they do know that the suspect is a part-time bouncer at a Tsim Sha Tsui entertainment venue controlled by a gang leader nicknamed “Sai B,” where it sounds to us like anything – and I mean anything – goes.
