I’ve said this before, but I don’t have a problem with tattoos at all as I have my own. But for the love of everything that is holy, please think things through before you get a tattoo you’re going to have the rest of your life, especially if you decide to get a freaking eyeball tattoo like Catt Gallinger tried to get.

Gallinger, a model from Ottawa, Canada, has revealed that deciding to get an eyeball tattoo was a “massive mistake,” but I don’t have to get my eyeball tattooed to know it’s a huge mistake. The botched tattoo left the woman crying purple tears. Just look at this photo shared by Gallinger.

Holy hell. Here’s what Gallinger had to say about this nightmare.

“As it stands I will have to see a specialist and am at risk of being blind if it doesn’t get corrected. ‘This was caused by undiluted ink, over injection, not enough/smaller injections sights.”

Doctors gave Gallinger antibiotics drops to the affected area but that didn’t help much as the eye continued to get worse. Now doctors believe that Gallinger has an infection stuck in the excess ink, which contaminated her eye through equipment not properly sterilized.

Here’s what else the 24-year-old had to say:

“There are multiple people who can attest that my aftercare was good and any other part of what I am saying. I am NOT sharing this with you to cause trouble, I am sharing this to warn you to research who you get your procedures by as well as how the procedure should be properly done.

I have been to the hospital three times, I had no furry pets to cause any dander, and I wash my hands every time I do anything with my eye, both before and afterwards. I was on antibiotic drops for the first week and a half and have been on steroid drops for four days now, with little success at bringing down the internal swelling.”

Doctors have informed Gallinger her eye has sustained permanent damage and will either have to “go completely or stay a blurry mess.”

Check out the short video below to hear Gallinger talk about all this chaos.

In conclusion, please keep hot needles from your eyeball, folks.
