Depending on your age, it’s most likely you’ve cried during at least one of the following movies as a child: Old Yeller, The Land Before Time, The Lion King or Up. They’re simply too sad not to, and you’d probably still have to fight back tears even today during the films’ respective tearjerker moments.
However, over the last few days, a video on Twitter posted by Emily Broderick has definitively cemented the Disney/Pixar movie The Good Dinosaur a place on the list for the current generation of toddlers. Then again, thie clip of little Jentree trying to hold it together after the dinosaur loses his mommy could probably nab a spot all its own. Grab a box of Kleenex, because the waterworks start now…for everyone.

I mean, come on! If you didn’t at least get a little misty-eyed when she said, “He wants his mama,” your heart is as black as the dead of night.
A bit of an aside, but Pixar, can we please stop with these soul-crushing moments in every one of your films? We get that they teach children that life isn’t all talking cars and bright green dinos with big cutesy eyes, but that’s why you watch movies in the first place.
No? Still gonna keep doing it. Alrighty, then. We’ll inform the children.
