There seems to be a protest every week now these days — hell, a bunch of clowns got together to protest being classified as a gang by the FBI. So anyone with a cause and good sign-making ability can protest anything. And a dude named Jeffrey Shaver did just that.
The 31-year-old man was recently arrested for possession of weed, with police seizing his drugs and his bong — a bong he clearly adored. Thinking they wrongfully arrested him, Shaver got to protesting, demanding his weed and bong back.

Shaver stripped down to his underwear and designed some signs — one read, “RETURN MY BONG,” while another read, “RETURN MY MARIJUANA.” And then he proceeded to stand outside the court.

Oh, Shaver stood outside in his underwear protesting for a month.
Police were called initially when Jeffrey caused a disturbance near vending machines at a hospital where he was being treated for a panic attack. He was charged with possession of marijuana, which has now been dropped.
‘The action of the Crown on this marijuana case has been completely unreasonable,’ Jeffrey told The Record. ‘There should have been no need to continue (protesting) for such a long time.’
He should be getting his bong and weed back soon – but now has another problem to deal with. Police have charged him with public nudity over his protest in a thong outside Kitchener court in Ontario, Canada.
Well, so the mission was a success, Shaver will be getting his goodies back soon. But, he has been charged again.

I can barely find time to get sleep in sometimes and this dude has time to protest over a bong. Well, at least I hope his folks are proud.
