Police are calling an 11-year-old Oregon boy a hero today, but his mother probably thinks he’s nothing short of the biggest dick on the planet.
That’s because according to Yahoo! News, that boy called police Saturday night while he was inside a car being driven by his 30-year-old mother Nicole Norris because he thought she was too hammered to be behind the wheel of a car.

“He was able to tell us how much he saw her drinking, and told us he thought she hit a curb,” Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy Shannon Wilde said. “Her driving was so bad he realized this was not normal.”
Well, it turns out the boy was absolutely correct in his assumption, as Norris wound up blowing “almost twice the legal limit in a breath test.” On top the DUI charge, she could also face child endangerment charges for making the idiotic decision to put her son’s life at risk while she drove drunk.

“He was a very brave courageous young man; sometimes doing the right thing is not easy,” Wilde also said about the boy.
It’s unknown if the kid has returned home to face his mom yet. It’s also unknown if she plans on getting him anything for Christmas this year.
