Well, that’s certainly one headline I’ve never even come close to writing. But let us explain.
It seems like an unidentified man from Texas noticed that there was an armadillo outside of his house. So what does one do? Well according to Cass County Sheriff Larry Rowe the man grabbed his gun and shot at it in order to get rid of it. And what happened next? Well apparently the bullet ricochet off the animal and came right back at the man, striking him in the face.
“His wife was in the house. He went outside and took his .38 revolver and shot three times at the armadillo,” Rowe explains.
The bullet ended up hitting the man in the jaw. Luckily for him the bullet didn’t kill him, but he had his jaw wired shut as a result. And if you’re wondering where the armadillo is Rowe said they “didn’t find the armadillo.” So I’m going to assume that that little fella didn’t even realize what had happened and is still going about his day. All while that dude has a screwed up jaw and quite the embarrassing story to tell.
