Scott Kennedy was so desperate to find love that he made the decision to use his job’s company credit card to rack up a $5.8 million bill. Oh what? On his escort and making sure she lived a lavish life.
The 43-year-old, who was a CEO for the drug company Nemara, was let go a few months ago after it was discovered that he was using company money on his Backpage.com escort, 31-year-old Crystal Lundberg. Kennedy solicited services from eight to 10 times between 2012 and 2015. And he must have fallen head over heels because he ended up buying Lundberg a mansion and a hell of a lot more.

Like what? Well, trips, $600,000 worth of new clothes, as well as surgery for Lundberg and a personal driver for her kids. But wait, there’s more! Kenney and Lundgerg also splurged on two Rolex watches, a maid for their mansion, two pure-breed dogs, as well as a medical spa. Whatever that is.
The couple continued to spend as they were living inside of a 7,000-square-foot-mansion that Kennedy paid $12,000-a-month-rent using his company’s credit card.

Nemera has found 8,800 improper charges on the company credit card between November 2015 and mid-March 2017. These charges have been linked back to Kennedy and Lundberg. Kennedy allegedly gave his stay-at-home escort access to the company’s card, which resulted in 18 months of mega-spending.
Lundberg allegedly threatened Kennedy to give her more money or she’d begin seeing customers again.
Kennedy told the Chicago Tribune: “I wanted to be loved and cared for. My heart kind of overrid (sic) my head and said, ‘Take a chance.’ Well, it blew up in my face.”
And now because Kennedy wanted love so badly he and Lundberg are now under investigation for fraud and money laundering.
