I’ll be honest: It’s better than bringing a six-pound bag of shit onboard.
According to The Huffington Post, a dude walked onto a New York City subway car with a peacock recently, and not only was the bird chill as fuck, but the rest of the people on the train didn’t seem to have their feathers ruffled by the sight of it either.

The reason the peacock was so still and so quiet? You guessed it: It’s actually a stuffed mascot.
“It’s the mascot of a bar I run in Tribeca called Weather Up,” the guy holding the bird wrote in a Reddit post. “The owner Kathryn is the blonde woman to right of me, she’s the owner of the peacock. It’s also stuffed, come to the bar for a beer.”
Perhaps the biggest takeaway from the story here is that it really doesn’t matter what you bring onto the subway in NYC these days. Just a heads-up for those putting in endless hours to come up with the next big thing that’ll go viral on the train: The people riding the train have officially seen it all and don’t give a shit about whatever you’re doing or what you’ve got to sell, so stop wasting your time.
