According to the New York Post, a 37-year-old Elizabethon woman and her 26-year-old boo were arrested and charged with aggravated child abuse and aggravated child neglect or endangerment after they allegedly tried to sell their five-month-old baby on Craigslist last week.

The going price for an infant in Tennessee these days? You guessed it: $3,000 or $750 per limb.

Another couple saw the ad online and alerted the Greene County Sheriff’s Office, who in turn had an undercover officer reach out to Deanna Lynn Greer and John David Cain and ask them just how much they were looking for in exchange for their child. Once the three grand was negotiated, the officer met with Greer and Cain at a store and made the exchange.

Once the undercover agent had the child in hand, other officers moved in and arrested the couple. The infant is now in state custody, and both Greer and Cain are in deep shit.

In other Tennessee Craigslist news, if you’re a “sexy petite woman” who was at the Kroger inside the Glenbrook Shopping Center in Hendersonville yesterday, you were part of a missed connection with a dude who took a picture of your backside and “wanted to talk to you so bad, but your ass in those pants distracted the hell outta him.”

He would love to chat, and all you have to do is tell him what car you drove, which is totally something you should do if you’re looking to get attacked.
