Michael Cusack, the famed creator of ‘Ciggy Butt Brain’ (from the ‘Damo and Darren’ series) and ‘YOLO’, has blessed triple j with a new animation inspired by all the weird messages the station has received on its textline.
Cusack spoke to triple j ‘Breakfast’ hosts Ben and Liam earlier this week, and agreed to create a new animation especially for the station.
The result is a three-minute extravaganza of random shit that people have texted in to triple j, complete with Cusack’s unique animation style, a Nutella monster and (of course) a dude with a ‘melted face’.
