People get divorced for many different reasons. Sometimes you get married before Kate Beckinsale comes into the picture. Other times it’s a matter of never seeing your significant other. And other times, you never see that significant other because he’s shacking up with your sister. And even sometimes it’s because your wife shares pictures of the wedding on Snapchat.
Well, it looks like you can now add “because he voted for Trump” to the list of reasons why people split from each other.
According to The Independent, a 73-year-old retired California prison guard left her husband of 22 years after she discovered that he exercised his American right to vote and used that vote on one Donald J. Trump.

“It totally undid me that he could vote for Trump,” Gayle McCormick said. “I felt like I had been fooling myself. It opened up areas between us I had not faced before. I realized how far I had gone in my life to accept things I would have never accepted when I was younger.”
McCormick, who says she’s a Democrat but leaning toward becoming a socialist these days, added that her husband voting for Trump left her feeling “betrayed,” and it didn’t take to long to figure out that it was a “deal breaker.”
16 percent of respondents to a recent Reuters poll said they have stopped talking to at least one family member because of the election, which to us sounds like 16 percent of those who were polled either need to get a job or get baked in the very near future.
