This Woman Thinks She’s ‘Too Beautiful’ To Get A Job

It’s tough to get a job nowadays, which is why we try to get our hands on anything that we come across, and try even harder to nail the interview. Although, it’s still not at a point for most of us where we will steal the company president’s wallet at the job we are interviewing at. Still, as important as having a job is, one woman from Selly Oak in Birmingham believes she can’t get a job because she is simply too attractive.

Marie Buchan, a 37 year-old mother of eight (yes, eight) has a problem: men keep trying to hit on her, so now she can’t get a job (apparently). Buchan said when she is approached by garages to conduct work, they are usually “looking for something more” and “not really after [her] working there.”

‘They’ll say things like, ‘What do you do when the kids aren’t around, would you fancy going for a drink, would there be anything else you’d like to do in the garage other than work on cars?,'” she told The Daily Star, as she also called these dudes “dirty big perverts.”

Buchan says she wants to try and put a stop to sexism in the car industry and prevent women from being “ripped off” because of their gender.

All fine and dandy, but this is also the same woman who once made headlines after complaining about cuts to her almost $40,000 worth of benefits. She made headlines again after revealing that she’d rather save her money for a boob job because “child tax credits and working tax credits pay for her kids.” So obviously, this gal just doesn’t want to work.

Buchan will finish her degree in March and continue looking for work. Good luck, lady. I guess.
