Instagram has sure been a huge part of our day-to-day lives ever since it debuted. And while most of us use Instagram to share terrible selfies or blurry photos of landscape, other people use it to make themselves famous and wealthy. But while Instagram made Jen Selter and her bum popular, as well as Abigail Ratchford and her boobs popular, too, the two Toronto sisters below just weren’t satisfied with the level of wealth the social media app was providing for them, so they took things a step much further.
‘Famous’ Hot Instagram Sisters Arrested For Extorting Nigerian Billionaire
Toronto Sisters Jyoti and Krian Matharoo, who have more than 50,000 followers combined, are said to have threatened to release proof that super rich Nigerian businessman Femi Otedola cheated on his wife. And what was going to keep their mouths shut? Money of course. Otedola went ahead and paid for his own investigation, and he discovered that the hot sisters have a history of recording conversations and having sex with rich dudes, only to later release the videos and photos on their website Naijagistlive.com (which is now shutdown).
Otedola filed a complaint, and the gals were arrested.
Jyoti and Matharoo are being accused of “the humiliation and cyber-bullying of some 274 persons, mostly based in Africa.” Holy hell, that is a lot of bullying.
And there is tons of evidence against them, as the police found “laptops and iPads that had the information of different people, including video tapes of men having sex with them… politicians, top ranking businessmen in Nigeria. They also found email messages they exchanged with some people, blackmailing them, trying to extort money from them.
The sisters are due back in court at the end of next month.
Well, next time just shamelessly plug crappy products on Instagram for cash, and stay away from blackmailing rich folks, ladies.
