So let me get this straight: This dude looks like Hitler in his passport photo, this guy was believed to have his eyes closed when they weren’t in his photo, and I look like a serial killer in my driver’s license photo, but this dude looks awesome rocking some horns?

Phelan Moonsong (and yes, that’s his name), is pretty damn happy these days, as he has been given the OK to wear huge horns for his driver’s license photo. Moonsong said he wears the headgear for religious reasons. Um, OK.

Moonsong (man, I love saying that) is a pagan priest who was originally turned down by the Bangor Bureau of Motor Vehicles In Maine after he had applied to wear his beloved horns in his photo. But that wasn’t going to get Moonsong down, as he quickly visited another DMV in Portland, Oregon, and explained his religious beliefs.

And guess what? They accepted it. “‘I won. Picture with horns allowed and being retaken,” Moonsong said on his Facebook. And here is his new driver’s license:

Beautiful.

As far as his name goes, Moonsong tells Bangor Daily News, “I have used it publicly as my name (except in legal matters) since 2007 when I was initiated in a Coven.”

Oh, well then that makes sense.

Something tells me this girl wouldn’t have been able to use Moonsong’s ID: Underage Girl Returns Lost ID To Owner After Using It To Drink For A Whole Year
