Yeah, odds are this guy isn’t going to try to steal shit ever again. Pun intended.
According to the Daily Mail, an asshole who recently tried to steal a dog in the tiny Chinese village of Guilin probably wishes the cops would have captured him in the act instead of the local villagers because they made him…wait for it…stand in a massive pit of poop that came all the way up to his chest.

There are some media outlets that are reporting the man was busted trying to gank a moped, but regardless of what he was trying to steal, the fact that he was dunked into a giant crap cavity is what’s important here. It’s unknown how long the villagers made him stay in there or if they eventually called the police to take him away, but the one thing that is certain is that nobody feels bad about making this clown the Andy Dufresne of China.
“They are already merciful,” one online comment read. “They didn’t ask him to eat up all the excrement.”
It’s unknown why the people of Guilin have a massive hole of shit in the middle of their town, but it’s good to see that they’re finding creative ways to put it to use. Just as creative as this dude.
And I’m going to assume this thief will act like this if they ever let him out of there.
