Good thing I’m not in that class because I can’t stop laughing either.
According to Mirror, a five-year-old girl who can’t stop laughing at her teacher’s name because her name is Miss Butt is being deemed a “naughty” student because of it.
Annalise Terumalai told her mom that her teacher’s name is so funny that she can’t stop giggling, and when her mom had a talk with Miss Butt at a parent-teacher conference earlier this year at the East London school, everything seemed to be copacetic. But things have changed in the weeks since, and now Annalise’s mother Priscilla is pretty pissed about it.
“When I received a call from the school, I was appalled at how pathetic and petty it was,” Priscilla said. “It wasn’t making fun of her name at all. I wasn’t happy about being reported.”
Priscilla said that she has tried to move Annalise to a different teacher’s classroom just to make the situation easier on everybody, but so far, nobody seems to agree with her. Of course, we’d understand why that’s the case if the other teacher’s name is Mr. Penispickle.
And don’t forget the funny town names, either.
