The word “hero” gets thrown around a lot these days, but that’s mostly because websites want you to click on their articles. We’d never be so brash, though. No, when we say someone’s a hero, we mean it. After all, had the guy in the following photos not put his own well-being aside to jump in and save a trapped mallard from certain doom, it would never have survived to reach its full potential.
